Central Valley is the gateway to Costa Rica with wide range of activities and attractions worth exploring in a pleasant climate. Gastronomic variety and high-level lodgings characterize this region which has great museums in the country, and, of course, a great nightlife.

CORCOVADO
Corcovado National Park. is within a couple of hours of the town of Puerto Jimenez. The Park is a unique combination of flora and fauna that many researchers, photographers, and nature lovers find overwhelming. Any of its trails will take you to a mystical forest with trees reaching up to 60 meters home of a complex system of lianas, insects, epiphytes, birds, and mammals.

DOMINICAL AREA
Blue sea, crystal waters and blunt waves that slide over the white and gray sands. Islands, beaches, trails, sloths, monkeys, tapirs, felines and ferns mixed together with the magical colorful flowers along with marine birds and dolphins. Great for surfing, snorkeling, kayaking and sport fishing.

GUANACASTE
Guanacaste, northern Pacific is a region with great influence on its history, where strong visitor numbers mingle with traditions and typical elements. With many beaches, the area constitutes one of the most important tourism areas with nice hotels, and great places to play golf and sport fishing.

LIMON
Puerto Limon, in a bay on swampy Caribbean lowland. A leading port of the country and end of the Northern Railway to San José. Exports include bananas, coffee, cocoa, and coconuts. It is the site of a cathedral, a large trading market, and Vargas Park, with botanical gardens; beaches lie nearby.

MANUEL ANTONIO
Manuel Antonio is the most visited National Park in Costa Rica, with two white sandy beaches. Just off shore are twelve islands, most of them without vegetation, but excellent seabird sanctuaries, with more than a hundred mammal species and birds here. The park has also many beaches and hotels.

NICOYA PENNISULA

OROSI VALLEY

PUERTO JIMENEZ

RINCON DE LA VIEJA
The Rincon de la Vieja is a composite structure. The park contains hot springs which give rise to very hot mountain streams, sulfuric ponds with small mud-filled depressions which bubble continuously; geysers releasing jets of stream and many waterfalls. Great for relaxation.

SAN JOSE
San Jose, fresh and breezy, the most cosmopolitan city in Central America. There's a large diplomatic and international business presence here with small, elegant hotels in renovated historic buildings, as well as innovative new restaurants, museums and souvenir shops of every kind here in the city.

Sarapiqui, in the heart of Costa Rica’s Atlantic banana-producing region, is also home to some of the country's best ecotourism experiences. Nature lodges and scientific research stations reside deep in the lowland rainforest and on the banks of the scenic Sarapiqui River

SIQUIRRES
The name of the canton is derived from the Indian Word meaning reddish colored.The climate is warm, wet and with temperatures between 25 and 26 Degrees Celcius. The area is drained by the rivers Reventazón, Parismina, Pacuare, Madre de Dios and Matina. Agricultura products include banana, cacao, corn, coconut, plantain, rice, cassava, soursop, macadamia, nuts, pasión fruit and ginger. Fishing and cattle are also important.

TORTUGUERO
The small village of Tortuguero ("Region of Turtles") lies on the northeastern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, approximately 50 miles north of the principal Port of Limon, The region is covered by a large expanse of tropical rainforest.

TURRIALBA
Turrialba, at the confluence of Rios Colorado and Turrialba, is a nice quiet town. However, its proximity to the Rios Reventazon and Pacuare, some of the world's best river runs, made it world famous.
